The University has set up an IT Learning Centre to cater to the training needs of the students. A self-learning courseware in a hands-on tutorial mode is also available for use by those who wish to be trained before taking the test. Students can access the courseware through the Internet. Students can book the Self-Learning Session via the Booking System to have the IT Proficiency Training by themselves in the IT Learning Centre; some Faculties and Departments have also set up self-learning centres for their own students. The training is entirely voluntary. Students may also attend some Instructor-led courses organised by IT Learning Centre on related IT topics.
