Students who have previously passed the IT Proficiency Test, or attended the IT Intensive Course twice (only applicable to those admitted to the current programme in 2003-04 and before) will NOT be required to complete the requirement of Student IT Competence again. Students need not submit any application and the exemption will be notified by email around October. (Students may also check the exemption in SITC Booking System)

Students admitted in 2004-05 and thereafter, who have taken and passed all the SEVEN test modules of the International Computer Driving Licence Test, will be given exemption from the IT Proficiency Test upon application.

Please download and fill the form and return it in person with the required document(s) to the Student IT Competence Committee (c/o Registration and Examinations Section, 1/F, Sui-Loong Pao Building). However, for MB ChB students, please contact the Faculty of Medicine for exemption. Details of their exemptions will be passed by their Faculty Office to the Student IT Competence Committee for processing.
